This place was AMAZING. Gorgeous interior and little shop as well, I purchased a few soaps that smell and look amazing.
I chose the 40 min bath soak, which was very relaxing, the tub was sunken and large, they do provide a stool to those who are shorter and dont want to float around (like me lol). They played soft music and the tubs heat is adjustable.
The staff was very kind, and I had a great experience, the relaxation room was just beautiful.
I would definitely visit again, and would like to get a massage and soak.
We go here every summer . Our annual Saratoga trip with the girls , this is such a treat for all of us . The mineral bath I highly recommend, it relaxes you so much and the bath is incredibly deep and just the right amount of heat . Then the wonderful massage , I had Carol this year and she was wonderful, and awesome masseuse. She was very good about making sure I was comfortable with the pressure , etc .
The front desk people were not good this year at all and when we arrived they did not explain or ask us if we wanted aromatherapy oils at all . When we went into the locker room they were all out of robes and we had to get some from the men’s room . Nobody showed us the way like in the past . We did have a bath attendant bring us to the bath and talk about it etc , a nice warm towel gets delivered while your soaking for you to use and then you get the massage , it’s quite heavenly .
Amazing experience - soaking in hot spring water for 45 minutes! Healing and relaxing in 90% pure spring water. 10% hot tap water is added to heat up the bath water to perfect 104ish degrees. The facilities are nice and clean. The tubs are the actual historic ones from the 30s which were restored and lined.
Soaking in this water feels amazing and time flies - I could have easily doubled the time. There is a massage and other packages which I didn’t take advantage of this time.
Interesting fact, while there are fresh springs and mineral water available for people to fill up our own containers, there doesn’t seem to be actual bottling plant. The water baring the Saratoga name is actually bottled in Main according to the bottle label - see the picture.
Make sure to check out the restaurants suggested to me - pictures at the end of the post. Sweet Mimi’s apparently uses local ingredients including milk produced by local cows.
The baths are a luxurious experience. It was lovely to soak in my own private tub in my own room. The sitting room has comfortable over-sized chairs for relaxation.
So I got to the Park Early to shoot photos, and around 2:30 when I went back to my appointment at 2:30 they offered me a sauna...Awesome Idea.. By the time I got to the Mineral Bath it allowed me to be so relaxed the Massage by Sky was Amazing. After that I was raving about the services Kassandra and Katie (5 star customer service girls) sole me a sweater. Good quality Fleece. I'll be back Hopefully in the Fall
Want to feel like you just time traveled to the 1920’s and have a luxurious spa experience in a historic building? Well the Rosevelt Baths are for you! You are brought to your own room with a massage table and bath already filled after walking down a somewhat creepy but cool hallway. Your spa attendant will explain why the water looks the way it does and what your experience will entail before leaving you to enjoy it for whatever time you’ve selected. It is a little weird at first with the odd colored water, the slightly metallic smell and the bubbles that appear when you move, but they do a good job of explaining the science behind it to help put you to ease! Each room does have a small bathroom with a sink and toilet as well. Can’t wait to come back!
Nice visuals, very small relaxing room. Dressing rooms are very small. Too small. Not accommodating at all. We went for a mineral bath only. Basically spent $50 each for a 40 minute soak in a stained bath tub. The water was no different than regular bath water. You are paying for the experience only. Would definately not go again.
Cannot say enough good things about this spa. I've been to several having lived in Vegas and now in Colorado. This by far has been the best. Quiet, relaxing, great treatment and after the mineral bath I had relief from my aches and joint pain that I haven't had in years. Definitely a must go if you are visiting in the area of Saratoga Springs.
